About Reservations

Recently found some interesting comments on reservations.. so thought of publishing them…..

ET has opened a debate on “Is Premji right to go against job quotas in Wipro?”

As expected most of the posts agree with him…
here is someone who put his pt in a v diff way.. )

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 30 percent for OBC, 30 percent for SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.
We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.

Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.

There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and
politicians (that can really help the country.. )

Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..)

Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward…
Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN..

My last ONE week

Seeing another post from me, quite clearly reveals the fact that last one week has been the most free time of my stay @IIIT. When Microsoft visted last week, I was out in the first round itself, and till date I am jobless or VELLA. And believe me being vella is what i have been begging during my entire 6th sem, and wen i am really free i am getting bored. Also one of the most rocking places in IIIT THE OBH has been dead. With very few ppl in this gr8 villa ppl feared it as BHOOT BANGLA a few days ago when the lamp post in front of OBH was out of order. The irony is that I havent watched enuf movied during the last week even wen i had nothing to do. The day normally begins around 11:30 with washing my eyes in boiling water. and finally i go in bed around 2:00 pm and also enjoying a 2 hr nap in the day.

I would like to congratulate all the ppl who have been offered internship @ MS namely Parag, Anand, Sudher, Spoorthy and Ravi Shankar. With ug2k2 batch stroong waves in the blood of IIIT'ians by belling the CAT and now 2k3 batch is rocking with good interns[8 Microsoft India, 1 Microsoft Redmond, 2 Kritikal, 3 GE, 2 C-DAC and many more].

I have killed my time with reading Kushwant Singh's novel named "Obituaries – Death at my Doorstep" where he writes obituaries of many people. Writing after a long long time

• so wats next.. my yahoo status for last 2 dyas has been

  This status mesg came directly from my heart…
  jus aftr writing my last exam on 10th (boring SE exam) i was bewildered… actually life is going 2 fast (for me atleast).. i joined this insti on 22 July 2003 and it's almost 3 years
  wat all i hav been doing in these 3 years ??
  hardly ne thing and life passed, passed , passed……………. i cant catch it
  so i am stil running but problem is tht i dont know where i am heading… i am really confused on "Where i will land up ??"

so after exams are over… my usual holidays start wid movies.. and these days i hav been concentrating on a lot of Hindi movies tpical masala movies…. i hav been abusing them for a long-2 time.. but i stil watch them… as they relax u and unlike ne hollywood movies no fundae.. and nothing 2 think.. as u know wat is going 2 happen next…

 so i woke up a standard holiday time of 11:30 am and spent a nice afternoon.. but was taken back on seeing a van which was marked as "Ashoka Packers and Movers" so its the time dude.. seniors are parting away… they hav spent the quota of 4 years… and we hav 2 take their responsiblity of being the 4th years… really time is passing like strong wind,.. i cudnt catch it….

so this sem is almost over.. i wish 2 write sum thing on the courses wich i took.. all the lines wriiten below are competely my views… so dont get caried way….

so this sem was a heavy one for me wid DDBMS, BTP and a RAship…. and i managed it..:) but i hav planned 2 take bit easy courses ahead.. i am really irritated tht Ramakanta Bal is not offering course next sem… so hav 2 go for other alternative..

also no learnings rite now.. rite them soon,, and trying 2 be more consistent from now on….
